Spanish newspaper El Mundo publishes an article where it reveals that the Princess Royal will peforme the first official visit from a member of the british royal family to Gibraltar in 50 years.

Princess Anne will arrive monday and will be in Gibraltar for several days. She and her staff will stay at The Convent Place, the official residence from the governor of Gibraltar, Francis Richards

There are some beautiful pics of Princess Anne on her second day in Gibraltar. :flower:

Visit to Gibraltar

The princess is visiting Gibraltar on behalf of her mother, Queen Elizabeth II, of the Queen to take part in the festivities of the tercentenary of the British presence in the southern tip of Spain following a formal invitation by the Gibraltarian authorities. The visit to Gibraltar of Princess Anne is being stirred up in Spain as inopportune and as likely to further cloud Anglo-Spanish relations over the territory

of course she would look silly if she were tramping around a wildlife park in high heels, just as she would look silly wearing combat boots to a hosptial. But, it's not like she was out in the forest or anything. And if she were, she would not be wearing a skirt and jacket. If you were to wear footwear to suit the occasion, would you not also wear suitable attire? To me, she really looks silly wearing a jacket and skirt with stripped boat shoes.

Is that all you've got to say about the Princess Royal? Commenting on her SHOES!!!! Princess Anne carries out hundreds of engagements every year for hundreds of worthwhile causes. It is a sad day when this forum is reduced to tittle tattle.

I love the blue dress, not so sure about the pink top though. And the hair, while very beautiful, the style is a little outdated.

It's a pretty yellow dress, although I don't like the hat with the yellow band.

Anne and Andrew Parker Bowles must still be great chums, I see pictures of them together frequently.

Good for Anne for creatively recycling the dress.
