The Princess Royal, Patron, Lattitude Global Volunteering, this afternoon visited Queen Alexandra College, 49 Court Oak Road, Harborne, Birmingham, to mark the Twentieth Anniversary of the College and the Twenty Fifth Anniversary of Lattitude Global Volunteering in Ecuador and was received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of West Midlands (Mr. John Crabtree).

The Princess Royal, Honorary Member, this evening attended the Smeatonian Society of Civil Engineers Discussion Dinner at One Great George Street, London SW1, and was received by Dr. Paul Knapman (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

Her Royal Highness, President, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Commonwealth Study Conference, afterwards attended a Board Meeting at the Brunswick Group LLP, 16 Lincoln’s Inn Fields, London WC2.
The Princess Royal, Patron, International Students House, this afternoon opened the Bar and Coffee Shop, “the Thirsty Scholar”, and visited their renovated facilities at 229 Great Portland Street, London W1, and was received by Professor David Phoenix (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).
Her Royal Highness, Colonel-in-Chief, The King’s Royal Hussars, later received Colonel James Porter at Buckingham Palace upon relinquishing his appointment as Commanding Officer and Lieutenant Colonel Angus Tilney upon assuming the appointment.
The Princess Royal, Warden, Gordonstoun School, this evening attended a Reception at Standard Life Aberdeen PLC, St Mary Axe, London EC3.
