The Princess Royal has clocked up some royal mileage this January ,Cyprus,Greece and Estonia representing the king!
 
I watched the game live on tele and can only say I smiled so much seeing her be typical Anne taking her seat then pulling on her bobble hat.

Princess Anne and husband Tim are in New Zealand to attend the centenary celebrations of the NZ Army’s Royal New Zealand Corps of Signals Anne is Colonel in Chief of and to attend further engagements.

Yesterday they met with the Governor-General of New Zealand:

Princess Anne was in Inverness today, April 18, to visit Lochaber Rural Education Trust, and to open Caol Regeneration Company Limited's Thomas Telford Corpach Marina, the Sea Lock, Caledonian Canal, Corpach, Fort William. As Chancellor of the University of the Highlands and Islands she opened the Life Sciences Innovation Centre:

Why she’s always on the floor and never on the steps of the throne?

She is on a special carpet...

Someone on twitter pointed out (in response to this tweet) that the princess royal is wearing aiguillette for the first time. Not sure what new position that indicates but someone else wonders whether she has been made a personal aide-de-camp.
