Amazing, William clearly could have attended seeing what his Aunt did the same day.

Perhaps he was expected at all the preamble to the FA Cup eg an official lunch etc.
 
I did think about William attending if kick off wasn't until 5pm. Anne must have attended the service (12-1pm max) and an hour (1-2pm) at most of the reception after before changing and heading down into the town for her engagement.
 
Anne had to travel only a mile or two to her engagement-it was in Windsor, just around the corner from the wedding.

I know Wembley isn’t too far from Windsor, but not in the same town.

After yesterday's engagement in Wiltshire Princess Anne travelled to Estonia.

Today, May 30, she met with the President of Estonia Kersti Kaljulaid at Kadriorg Palace in Tallinn, attended a wreath laying ceremony and as Colonel-in-Chief of The King's Royal Hussars she visited Operation CABRIT at Tapa Military Base:

The Princess Royal this afternoon departed from Royal Air Force Brize Norton for Estonia and was received this evening upon arrival at Tallinn Airport by Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Republic of Estonia (Her Excellency Mrs Theresa Bubbear).
Captain Russell Bond is in attendance.

The Princess Royal today carried out engagements in Estonia.

Her Royal Highness called upon The President of the Republic of Estonia at Kadriorg Palace, Tallinn.

The Princess Royal afterwards laid wreaths at the Estonian War Memorial and the Commonwealth War Graves at the Defence Forces Cemetery of Tallinn, Filtri tee 14, Tallinn.

Her Royal Highness subsequently held an Investiture at the residence of Her Majesty's Ambassador to the Republic of Estonia.

The Princess Royal, Colonel-in-Chief, today visited The King's Royal Hussars at Tapa Military Base.

Her Royal Highness this evening arrived at Kemble Airfield, Gloucestershire, from Estonia.

The Duchess of Cornwall, The Countess of Wessex, Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, The Duchess of Gloucester, The King and Queen of Spain and The King and Queen of the Netherlands were present.

Princess Anne was in Redcar today, July 19. She made a visit to the Zetland Lifeboat Museum and one to Cleveland Way to mark its 50th anniversary.
