Thank you Suzanne for the link. I had not seen the pictures until today. I have only heard about them and I think Mara showed me a tiny pic and it was blackened out that bit. Now you have got me interested in wonder bras and have to check the net for a good one that will do the job. In Australia they had this new wonder bra come out and advertised and it was suppose to be like a spa bra with a bag of water inside to pump and make you look like you got lots in front. I was going to order one and luckily my sister stopped me and told me to wait a while. Glad I did too as a couple of months time it was reported on news that all the girls who ordered one got ripped off and the stock never arrived from London. They were crying as it was priced at $65.00 each. :x :o

And the main thing is they are really comfortable

Well, at the moment the kicka$$ team is a bit weak .
Robb that poor thing has a cold again, and I´m very busy with school.
Especailly with the Spanish class...
So I spent most of my time with learning that shi%&$?tty verbs.
They all have a different declination!!!
But I hope it´s getting better.

Ok Kika and Lorissa...I didn't think that things outside the US where so dramatic!! The people I know here in the US like a little shape to there women. Not just a push up bra. A little hips and butt ... you know the old hour glass look. NOT the bean pole look. She is tall and skinny (I give her credit for that) but she could use more of a figure in my opinion. And she should always try to look into the camara...those side shoots aren't very complimentary.

PS and in the bridal gown picture and the last one you can tell she's so pushed up (just by looking at the shape of her cleavage) you would think she was hurting herself. OR she could have one of those bras with the gel pads on the bottom to push you up to give the appearance. :o

How are you two? Thnaks so much for the bra advice. But you two are very wicked as now I am hooked on a wonder bra and know exactly what I want for christmas. All I have to decide on is which one. If it can do so much for Eva, then it is an incredible product and could do magic for anyone. There is currently so many different types on the market. Suzanne, I agree completely. That is the thing that always got to me. How and Why would she do that once she started dating Felipe. Surely, she must have known better. I don't mean to be unkind, but that was just plain stupid! You must always be aware of the photographers when you are with a person who leads a public life. The photographers are everywhere.

How are you? I do agree strongly with both of you about Eva and her appearing topless when she was dating a Crown Prince. Where were these photos taken? Was it actually in Spain?

I hope to learn more about Felipe and Eva's relationship and most of you who post here have so much knowledge and expertise in this matter as you have been following the relationship for ages and done lots of readings,study,etc...

I am so looking forward to more comments and information form everyone and their help in educating me on the Felipe and his life.

Suzanne and jacqueline, If Eva hadn't sunbathed topless, would she have been accepted as the Crown Princess/Quen of Spain? Sometimes it is so hard to know why a person makes the mistakes they do. I look at Sarah Ferguson's life and wonder why she got involved with Jonny Bryant and the infamous toe sucking situation when she was married to hunky Prince Andrew and was in favor with the Queen of England. She had everything and yet, gave it all up for a fling with a creep who sold his story to the press?. :o

Did Eva ever want to be the next Queen of Spain? or were they just friends? Like with Frederik's situation where maria and bettina were more out for a good time and just enjoying being boyfriend/girlfriend, thats why they didn't care and sunbathed topless.

I´m such a crazy LOTR- fan, that I had to use it!

Well, what I think about Eva is, that she would never have been accepted as future Queen of Spain.

She was not only spotted topless on the beach.
The problem was also, that she is a model.
There were modeling pics of her in underwear.
A problem that also Gigi Howard had, Flip´s ex ex.
She was a beautyful, intelligent ( studying Psychology ) young lady, but she disappeard as fast as she came after everybody saw the pics...

A second fact is, that she´s not Catholic.
I personaly don´t understand, why this could be a problem, but most of the Spanish people are very religious, and for them, it was!

Ok, that she´s from Norway and not a Spanish Lady I don´t have to mention.

Of course, Eva isn´t royal.
Many Spanish people would like to see a royal woman at Flips side.
Not a civil girl!
And most of all, not a woman with parents that are divorced!
Another thing, I can´t understand.
It wasn´t Eva´s fault.

One more problem is also, that the Spanish royal family never accepted her.
I think, if they would have, the people would have accepted her, too.

This is also something, I have to call especially Flips problem.
He never said: Look, that´s the woman I love.
He always did, what his dragon.....oh! ehem, I wanted to say his mother...said.
Like a little boy.
Not like a strong grown man.

So I´m not sure, if they had a real relationship or if it just was a bing bing-thing.
Maybe he would be more loyal if he finds the love of his life...

How are you? Thank you so much for taking the time to explain to me the reasons why Eva would not be accepted. The reasons about not being Catholic is crazy. I am beginning to think that the Spanish Royal family is ridiculous. I don't see anything wrong with modelling underwear as the girl has to make a living. Katja also modelled underwear, at least it isn't porn :x . Oh, well..... I guess that must be life.But I do agree with you that Felipe seems like a weak man for not standing up for love. At least Fred was willing to abduct the throne for Katja.

I think that the major factors against Eva were the facts that she was a model and that she modeled swimwear and underwear. I don't think that there is anything wrong with that for the average model or woman who is dating an average man. She is an attractive woman, has a good height, and body and she became a model. That happens. However, when you are dealing with royalty you are in a completely different realm, and unfortuantely the modeling of swimwear and lingerie just is not going to be accepted. If she were simply modeling evening gowns and regular clothing then perhaps it would have been less of an issue, but that was simply not the case. Honestly, in Spain, I don't know that modeling of any sort would have been that accepted.

Eva's major mistake was appearing topless while she was dating Flip. That was utterly ridiculous, IMO. It was unwarranted and something that definitely could have been avoided by Eva keeping her top on. I don't know what made her do that. Maybe she didn't want to mary Flip at this point or maybe she knew or thought that it was hopeless and that her time was her up, so it didn't matter. I don't know. But, if she thought that it was okay in an sense, she was wrong.

I do think that another major obstacle was that the Royal Family, itself did not accept Eva, and that always has a lot to do with the people of Spain not accepting her. If Flips' own family doesn't find her to be suitable or dislike things about her, then why should any citizen of Spain find her acceptable either?

I don't think that her parents' being divorced is a major issue or the fact that she isn't Catholic. Maybe it was to some people, but I personally find that to be beyond ridiculous. Her parent's issues between themselves have nothing to do with her. She can't control her parents or her family. That's impossible and she can't be faulted for that. However, many people in the world are closed-minded enough to fault people for things that take place in their families that they have nothing to do with. As far as Catholicism one can always convert.

But, the fact is that Eva and her occupation did her in. She just didn't stand a chance. That is unfortunate, but that is the way it works when you are dealing with royalty and also certain members of the nobility.

Flip is going to have a hard time chosing a wife. His future wife is going to have to be an extremely fantatstic fantasy woman, who he may or may not even love deeply. :( She will need a very suitable occupation, have to be educated, preferably Catholic from the very beginning, have parents that are not divorced and a perfect family that is fairly close to flawless. She will have to at least be attractive and be very pleasant, (she can't be flashy at all-very modest dress and jewelry) and have a very good way with people. She will have to be completely and utterly accepted by the Royal Family of Spain.

Well in the Spanish Corona I remember reading that he would have to marry a Royal and Catholic (although it was in spanish and I read it through a translator). But I remember the press constantly refering to those two facts. They said he might be able to get by the Royal thing but not the Catholic.

The topless and underwear modeling just proves she didn't have good judgement and not appropriate to be a Queen. Remember the pictures of Diana with the sun shining through her skirt showing she didn't have a slip on??? She wasn't bearly dressed and that created a scandal before she got engaged to Charles.
