So... do you say that a Queen must be valued based on her clothes??
Bravo! What an intelligent argument!

Anyway I love her for being like she is, she dresses well for her position, but she can improve, no doubt about that.

I hadn't really thought of it that way. She really did set the bar pretty high when she was first engaged. The wonderful, timeless suits, and those dresses at the Danish wedding (WOW!!!). Compared to those days, she does look very basic these days. And yes, I do believe that she could be stunning everyday, you're right, with the face and the body to match, personally, not a whole lot of other princesses can come close (not to mention, the hottest prince alive holding your hand). I do love Letiza, then and now, and do agree that she well put together for her events and position, but would love to see that "Red-Dress-Letizia" come out to "play" from time to time!

It's hardly a frivolous trip, from what I understand some of the events are quite serious in nature and therefore require slightly more sober and professional clothes.
Letizia is appropriately dressed from what I've seen so far.

I, unlike many, love the fact that she recycles her clothes -- like the rest of us. The Spanish Royals are not in the same "money" bracket as say the Dutch or the British. To have a new outfit every day would be silly and I believe a slap to her people. I believe that the recycling is done on purpose. Letizia does not get a personal income from the state as does Maxima from Holland. I am looking into the internet to see if I can get the actual "salaries" of all the Crown Princes and will send on. I know there is quite a BIG difference from county to country. So maybe Letizia and Felipe use their money not only on clothes -- plus I love her hair style on her. Not many other princess I can say that about.
Who knows, seeing how close those two are, maybe Felipe asks her to wear a certain favorite outfit some days -- I know my husband always did. I would love doing it!

I've just came back from the Cervates Institute, I took some pictures, but they are of poor quality. And I have no idea how to post them . It was nice to see them, I stood maybe 2,5 meters from the princely couple.

I cannot believe Letizia's clothing on this trip - it's hit or miss!
She dresses so poorly - as if she has no money to spend at all.
She has got a great figure and a beautiful face - she is always well groomed. But, there is just something very cheap-looking about her clothing now.
And did she take just one pair of basic black peep-toe pumps with her - she is wearing them with everything!
Pre-Wedding - she looked fabulous but now she is always so disappointing.
She doesn't look good in girly, feminine frills --- her features are too strong. She needs to wear good quality classic outfits in lively colors. Splurge on some expensive accessories. Even Elena carries a Chanel purse.
And, please, wear some jewelry.

And what is worse is that she has all of that pamk, great jewelry, beautiful spanish and foreing designer outfits (other than Varela) like Adolfo Dominguez, Jesus del Pozo, Sant Laurent, Armani or Schlesser not to mention her shoes and purses, the best of her closet IMO, and nope, she just use the same outfits as the week before with only one pair of shoes for everything (or maybe are different but since she buys the same model by dozens, peep toes are in fashion?, let's get twenty pairs) and let's not go to the hair.
The First Lady looks way better being a much older lady than Letizia.
I think is time to give Varela a well deserve vacations
Oh and to those peep toes too, they have earned it!.

I predict tomorrow she will wear this set of outfit . I rather like this top, she should have bought a matching skirt to wear at a more formal event, ex. the arrival to Poland.

I loved the silver dress and the coat that went with it. But I was very concerned about how thin she looked in the black jacket and black and white skirt picture.
