The outfit is horrible, ripped jeans and dude's shoes while the team is dressed in suits or elegant clothes.

The Queen attending the lunch was a lovely gesture, but I have to agree, the outfit is just awful. Those shoes are not hip or cool, just flat out ugly. And the jeans are way too big for her. If she had on a pair of tailored jeans with a nice pair of heals or boots, the outfit would have been much better.

What was she wearing:eek:, those shoes my uncles used to wear, not a queen. And holes in your jeans, a horrible outfit to any luncheon be they staff or friends or family or even lunch alone....you will never be able to hide QL for you are a very beautiful lady and dressing like this, you still can't hide....

Well, at least it's good to know she has a good relationship with her staff

i don't mind her too much wearing informal clothes (that is not to say ragged clothes though) but what looks very odd is that everyone else is wearing formal wear! so of her to show up in informal clothes is a bit impolite. either you warn everyone that is it an informal outing so that everyone does the same, or you dress like other people would expect you to. it looks to me a bit like you are showing off your power towards your employees that someone wears a very informal outfit like this, and it looks to me like a bit of 'power dressing'. no one seems to mind, but as if they would complain... i just think you either make the dress code clear to everyone, or you wear whatever people may expect you to wear.

Maybe she was coming from another even and was unable to change her clothes? I don't mind though

The look of Letizia attending lunch with her team is absolutely ridiculous. A lack of respect for others.

According to comments on twitter, the family was yesterday at the cinema watching the movie "Exodus". Last year, during their private trip to Almeria, they were visiting the filming of the movie.

Last Saturday the Kings with their daughters and a group of 20 people (parents and children of the Colegio Santa Maria de los Rosales), went to the cinema Cinesa Manoteras to see Exodus: gods and kings in original version at 5pm.
A year ago, on the bridge of All Saints visited Almeria to enjoy the filming of the same movie, with her daughters.

Did they bring Leonor and Sofia along? Interesting...

The King and The Queen were rewarded for contributing to the normalization of LGBT. For the first time in history, the Spanish monarchy will be rewarded for contributing to the standardization of gays, lesbians, bisexuals and transsexuals. The award will be granted in the fifth edition of Fitur Gay (LGBT), to be held from January 28 to February 1. The US ambassador in Spain, James Costs, President Obama and the newspaper El Mundo complete the list of winners.

Don Felipe y doña Letizia, premiados por contribuir a la normalización del colectivo LGBT

Its good that Felipe wears suits for his daily work, his casual clothes choices are so odd.

:previous: That's from a Spanish TV movie from 2010.
