Because they do not want someone to take the domain name leonor.org or leonor.es etc and use it for business purposes or even worse put porn on it. All royal houses register the most prominent domain name to avoid beeing exploited, that was how Amalias name was revealed before the Prince told it because it was discovered that the royal house had registered the name catharina-amalia.com (or something like that)

It's not weird at all. This is a way of impeding non-authorized sites of the Infanta, since that's the only way of preserving her image and preventing the abuses that were verified immediatly after the engagement announcement. It's a way of defending the Infanta's rights.

Is for prevence any abuses with the name of the Infanta. I remember that when the announced of the engagement was made, some people resistrated web page domains in the name of Letizia and put there all kind of rumour and false statements. Some people belived that they were true because they thought that were official sites or somenting.

And from what i've read in spanish press, the Royal House didn´t ask to block, they registrated the domains for prevent that some others use them.

I´m seeing the Kings speak to the press and the King said that we couldn´t describe with whom she looks like and when Queen Sofia was explaining that the little Infanta was chubby, the King, looking very proud, said "and she has 47 cm" :o The kings were very amused and happy and saying jokes to the press. Great moment!!

Congratulations to Felipe, Letizia, their families, and Spain. How wonderful that they had a girl. Hope Leonor will become queen one day just like Elisabeth, Amalia, and Ingrid Alexandra.

Thank you all for the wonderful pictures, updates, and stories.:)

The tickets of the Christmas lottery in Spain with the number 31105 (the birthday of the Infanta) were all sold :p The store owner that sold them said that in the early morning people start to call by phone, making reserves, and when he oppened the store, people were already there to buy it.

Yes it is possible. If delivery starts naturaly hormones start sending milk to the mother's breasts imediately. So the mother can breast-feed the baby imediately after the birth. Only if cesarean is made wthout the knowledge of hormones , meaning that, the birth is provoked, the milk will take a litle longer to descend like people say.
So, I guess by this time Letizia must have experienced that miracle of nature.

Regards,
mtbcm :)

Yes, you can breastfeed after a C section. You, at times, will have to place the baby so she is not laying on the incision. You're also slower at getting up when laying flat because your stomach muscles are sore.

TVE showed a report about the name of the Infanta Leonor. They refered to Queen Leonor of Aragon, the mother of King Enrique of Castille, known as El Doliente, who inspired the book "El doncel de don Enrique el Doliente" by Mariano José de Larra (CP Letizia offered, as an engagement gift (the "literary jewel"), an original edition of this book). Enrique, el doliente was also the first Prince of Asturias.

They also refered to Leonor de Aquitania (Eleanor of Aquitaine), Queen of England and France. She was the mother of Queen Leonor of Castille (born Leonora of England), the wife of King Alfonso VIII. This Kings founded Cuenca Cathedral, which the Princes of Asturias visited during their honeymoon.
