Infanta Leonor Starts School- Photocall on September 15 2008
Infanta Leonor stars Primary school next Monday
Acording to Hola Magazine there will be and official Photoshoot at 09:00 - 09:15 more or less
The Primary School is called Santa Maria de los Rosales.

Does anyone know at what age he started? I recall a photo Sofia bringing him to school on his first day but he was older, maybe 6 or seven years old. Too bad I can't provide the link.

INFANT LEONOR BEGINS NEXT MONDAY HER SCHOOL LIFE
(...)A few minutes before the start of the day-about nine o'clock-prince Felipe return to his former school, Santa Maria de los Rosales, and will pose with his daughter, according to sources from the Palacio de la Zarzuela,inside the school compound and at the entrance to the flag of childhood. "The Royal Highness the Princes of Asturias and their eldest daughter, Royal Highness the Infanta Dona Leonor,will stop in front of the media a few brief moments in order to disturb as little as possible the normal development of the school day, and they can take pictures".
Little Leonor lead a new uniform with the coat of college (so far was not required) which includes a striped child´s overall , gray skirt, blue jersey , blue or black shoes and blue coat.

Felipe was 4 when he started school, a couple of years later than Leonor. I guess it's mainly because his mom was more a 'stay at home' mom at that time.

Really it is because a change in the school Spanish system, before the children began the infantile education with 3-4 years (depending if they had born before or after September when it begins the course), and now with 2-3.
Los Príncipes irán mañana con la Infanta Leonor a su primer día en el colegio
The Princes will go tomorrow with t Infanta Leonor to her first day in the school
The Princes of Asturias will accompany tomorrow their daughter, the Infanta Leonor, in her first day of class in the school Santa Maria de los Rosales, the same center in which her father studied.

I cant imagine what it must be like to be that tiny little girl starting school and having to walk past the press. I was terrified enough!!!

in the video, you can hear leonor saying: 'today, i'm starting to go to the 'grown-ups' school' (hoy comienzo el cole de mayores). el mundo reports that is her 'first comparecense', lol. she is adorable. letizia looked superb and so proud of little leonor.
