280.000 yens (the price of the Royal Suite)
US$ 2.587,52 (US Dollars/Euro),
A Yen is equal to a cent of Euro and to a cent of US Dollar.

fortunately this time we had the opportunity of seeing letizia wearing something else than those lots of similar suits she has... i think she should innovate more in that. that dressed looked so good and gave her another totally different look. does anyone know who designed it?

The Princes of Asturias heard today the testimonies about the tragic experience lived by a Spanish family, which was surprised by the tsunami, last Christmas. It happened during the meeting that Don Felipe and Doña Letizia had today with an ample representation of the Spanish community - approximately 1500 people, who live and work in this Asian country. The Princes of Asturias talked with them during a long while, and were interested about what they lived and they felt in the first moments of the catastrophe and on the following days.

Another article about yesterday's warm reception of the Imperial family:
http://www.lavanguardia.es/web/20050...186372872.html
Yesterday, at 7:00 p.m. (12:00 a.m. in Spain), the Princes of Asturias arrived at the residence of the Emperors of Japan, Akihito and Michiko, and a strict protocol was then accomplished. The Emperors left their palace to receive Don Felipe and Doña Letizia, but, against all expectations and customs, Akihito and Michiko broke the imperial austerity. Doña Letizia, who made a courtesy before the emperors, received a pair of kisses from Michiko and another one from princess Sayako; a gesture that is hardly seen in a country, where the demonstrations of affection are moderate, due to the amount of reverences that are usually required, when greeting each other.

Princess Letizia seems to be really happy during this trip, I am glad that apparently she's not having any problems with her pregnancy and that she's been able to attend all the events in the Princes' schedule.

Accidental Tourists
Like many of the 300.000 Japanese that every year travel to Spain like tourists, the Princes also arrived at Tokyo with the learned lesson, the information read and knowing beforehand the characteristics the society that were going to visit with the purpose of being prepared in the programmed contacts. In their first 48 hours in Japan, Don Felipe and Doña Letizia have made a course intensive of japoneidad but to pains they have stepped on the street. From the hotel to the embassy of Spain, from the hotel to the imperial palace, of floor 11 from the hotel to the cellar to receive to the Spanish colectivity and from the hotel to the train Bala to travel to Nagoya, the capital of Aichi, province that name gives to the Expo 2005, shows international that the Princes will cross today, Sunday.

TOGETHER ALWAYS. Don Felipe and Doña Letizia in the reception to the Spanish colony of Japan, yesterday
The Princes are, in their business trips, a species of accidental tourists who see the cities through the window of the car, but which they must know them beforehand although she is of virtual way to be able to speak with their interlocutors with cause knowledge. For that reason, although they have not seen the enormous building of Zara in the heat of district of Ginza, nor the stores of Lladró, Camper or of Adolph Domínguez, they must know and to proclaim with pride, since the Prince did before the Spaniards of Tokyo, that some of the most known companies Spanish have put their goad in Tokyo and other cities of Japan, following yesterday the wake of Loewe, whose logotipo is considered by the Japanese does not go more of the luxury and that is one of the reasons for which they peregrinate until Spain in search of a reasonable price the more for those objects of desire that in the stores of Japan reach astronomical numbers when adding the tax of luxury.
Don Felipe and Doña Letizia have not taken a walk by Tokyo, but Tokyo has taken a walk by them. The trip of the Princes has been programmed with a calculated austerity, as minimalista as the own Japanese society. Nothing of ceremonies of the tea, neither visits the temples, nor concessions to the gallery, since the inheriting princes of Denmark and Holland did in their day, who also traveled to Japan with the objective to visit the pavilions of their respective countries in the Expo de Aichi, but that to their pass by the empire of crisantemo gave to the international photographers their more worldly image .
The Princes have been followed until Tokyo by a nourished group of agencies of Spanish photos and of image that has been united to the international agencies that operate in Tokyo, to the hunting all of the best photo of the pregnant Princess, an image that at the moment enjoys the highest quotation and than the magazines they pay to price of gold. In all the acts, Doña Letizia literally has been asaetada by the flashes whenever her hand has taken to the hair or has done any gesture, by insignificant think she do, deserving of a photo. The past Friday, in the seat of the embassy of Spain, even the Prince had to stop to pronounce his speech whenever the sound and the light of tens of cameras and flashes broke the atmosphere. As much it was thus, that yesterday, Saturday, while Don Felipe, with the Princess alongside, spoke to the representatives of the Spanish colony to whom they offered a reception, Doña Letizia one stayed immovable and impassible to avoid that most imperceptible of her gestures that involuntarily caused a new alluvium of photographic firings. In these conditions it is difficult that the message surpasses the immediacy of the image, nor so at least would not be necessary that the Princes left house.

Princess Letizia looks really happy on all those pictures, even if a bit tired, which can be understood because of her pregnancy!
I really love the white dress she wore for the reception. It looks like a japanese kimono!
They both are so tall comapred to the Japanes RF!!!!!!!!!!!!

i liked the beige trousers today... they gave her a nice look without being "washed" as when she dresses all in white (like yesterday or in the fair). also, she combined really well the complements. she really seems to like orange purses...

http://actualidad.terra.es/nacional/articulo/principes_asturias_principes_naruhito_masako_335883.htm
The last act of the Princes of Asturias in Japan was a dinner with Prince Naruhito and his wife.
With this dinner, the Princes of Asturias finish their three-day visit to Japan, during which they have met the Spanish community that lives and works here, as well as the participants of the VIII Forum Spain-Japan, in Shirahama.
Yesterday in the morning they have visited the Universal Exhibition of Aichi, on the outskirts of Nagoya. At 10:30 p.m. (13.30 GMT), approximately, the airplane of the Spanish Air Force took the Princes back to Spain, with a technical scale in Moscow.
