i'm wondering.. since we all have similar pictures from different tv, online newspaper and so on..
what is the technical situation for the coverage? only 1 tv station, and 1 photographer?

All the photos are repeating themselves.:D :D :D

The photos are of a "pool" that has done the agency EFE, already there will no be many any more, not to being any release that escapes from us or any captured image of the video. Fact in lack some image more of the guests. And to Froilán ... where is he? Will he be sick? Or it is that he this time has been very calm.

What I can say...these photos say everything - so warm, beautiful, so happy and proud, so cutie:) :)
I love these photos where Infanta Leonor has open eyes - she's so cutie:)

Welcome Infanta Leonor de Todos Los Santos!

Infanta Leonor responded to her description of good and calm

Leonor of Todos los Santos, baptized today in the Palace of the Zarzuela, responded to its description of calm and good girl once again - as it defined his grandmother and godmother, Reina- in the photographic session of Family, in which the historical day was recorded, immediately before the religious ceremony.

...

Only in a while of the photographic session the small one, that has the blond hair, was on the awares. Neither their parents, the Princes, nor Doña Sofía could avoid in several occasions to tenderly caress the Infant, although it was Don Felipe, that he at any moment had taken of the figure to his wife, the one that the more time was delayed making him mimos in the nape of the neck.

Leonor opened the eyes when water of the river Jordan received on her head

Madrid, 14 ene (EFE) .-Without crying and with the opened eyes. This way the Infanta Leonor received on her fair head the water of the river Jordan with the one that was baptized today in the Palace of The Operetta, in a familiar ceremony in which her paternal grandparents, the Kings, were the godfathers.
The small Leonor remained slept practically the whole ceremony and only she left the placidness of the dream in the arms of her mother - and she gave a small wince - when the cardinal archbishop of Madrid, Antonio Maria Rouco Varela, spilt the water on her head. It was 13:10.
Leonor of All the Saints, first-born of the Princes of Asturias and second in the line of succession to the Throne, received the sacrament of the baptism two months and a half after her birth in the Clinical Ruber Internacional of Madrid of Madrid, last October 31 of dawn.
...
12:45 hours, with fifteen minutes of delay on the hour foreseen initially, it began the religious ceremony preceded by a photographic familiar session, celebrated in the lounge of hearings of The Zarzuela.
It was there where the grandmother and godmother of the small one, dona Sofía, was confessing the journalists that her granddaughter, beside being the most prettiest, behaves herself very well, she does not weep for anything. " My words remain repealed ", said the Queen, who the first day that saw her granddaughter commented that she was crying very much.
Whereas the King was already a godfather ofFelipe Juan Froilán, major son of the Infanta Elena, for the Queen it is the first time that couples one of her grandsons.
Moments before the photographic session, the minister of Justice, Juan Fernando Lopez Aguilar, in his condition of Major Notary of the Kingdom, had proceeded to the inscription of the birth of the Infanta in the Special Record of the Royal Family.

On having begun the religious ceremony presided by Christ Crucificado's image and other one of the Virgin, in whom Rouco Varela was represented by the military archbishop of Spain, Francisco Perez Gonzalez, and other five concelebrantes, the Prince of Asturias read a sacred text of the Prophet Ezequiel who speaks about " pure water ", of purification.
In the side of the Gospel, there placed, in the first row, the Kings and godfathers, the Princes of Asturias with the Infanta Leonor in arms of her mother, who in some moments fanned the small one and in many others she caressed her cheek, and the Dukes of Lugo and Palm.

Dona Cristina sat in her knees her small daughter, Irene, the first one after three males and "benjamina" of the Royal Family up to Leonor's birth.
Behind other relatives of the Kings were, as the sisters of don Juan Carlos, the Infantas Pilar and Margarita, with their respective families, or both brothers of dona Sofía, Irene and Constantino of Greece, who has travelled to Madrid in company of his wife, Ana Maria, and of several of his children.
Face, in the side of the Epistle, dona Letizia's family placed. Her parents, Jesus and Paloma; her grandparents, Menchu, Enriqueta and Francisco, great-grandfathers of the small Leonor; and both sisters of the Princess, Telma and Erika, between other relatives.

I thank you all for bringing TRF all the pictures and news about Infanta Doña Leonor's Christening!
This Christening was suche a nice, tender and intimate Christening. Letizia looks GREAT, Felipe looks a very PROUD dad (in some pics he looks like he wants to hold his litle princess ;)), Crown Princes couldn't have chosen better Godparents to their Child... Queen Sofia holding her godchild is such a tender picture...
Letizia Family dressed and posed for pictures very well, elegant and sober, without outstanding (I know I am going to drive Elsa crazy ;) but I have to mention this - I wonder what Penafiel will find to judge?!)...

Surprisingly http://img484.imageshack.us/my.php?image=11372481422149dd.jpg the Dukes of Palma must have changed their face look with Dukes of Lugo, who are usually so serious are all smiles and the Dukes of Palma look disturbed...

I know it is out of protocol but I do enjoy to see the cousins studying the Pile ;).

A big Hug to TRF members who filled this thread with the pics and news from this special day to Letizia, Felipe and Leonor and entire Spanish Royal Family!

Regards,
mtbcm :)

does leonor have only one name?

Leonor de Todos los Santos

The Princes have preferred not putting any more names and it does not surprise me.
This is a fault of the journalists. When Felipe Juan Froilán was born, to the journalists Froilán's name turned out to be graceful, and they started him calling this way, but for his family always he has been Felipe. With Juan, Victoria and Pablo it happened slightly similarly, and the journalists instead of calling them this way, they repeat always the list of names. The Infanta Cristina finished with it ties with the names of Miguel and Irene.
The poor Leonor had had to live through all her life with the whole list of names, or with that to the journalists to be nicer.

:) Thanks vey much to all of you who had sent the lovely pictures of the Infanta Leonor. She is truely beautiful and what an adorable baby. Although I come far away from Brunei, Spanish Royal family is my favourite European Royalty, especially Prince & Princess Of Asturias.

"CONGRATULATIONS" to Prince Felipe & Princess Letizia on the ocassion of christening their lovely princess. Princess Letizia looks so beautiful.

p/s
Can anyone tell me where can I send the card, I mean where should I address it? I belive it will take times to post because it's from Asia to Europe...but it's fine with me, better late than never.....:D

I love see irene, is soooooooo beautiful.
leonor de todos los santos is a bautiful royal baby.

and looks like grandma still have to remind the boys to be quiet..

btw, can someone show me where is the picture with greek royals? seems like i missed them.

I agree with what so many of you have said already, the Princess of Asturias looked fantastic; I don't think I've seen her this beautiful, happy and exuberating all at the same time since the time of her and Felipe's engagement and wedding. Infanta Leonor is indeed a super adorable baby!

Thelma is really beautiful as well, she looked great today. Paloma also looked wonderful, she always looks so elegant and chic. What a beautiful family!

I saw the broadcast that TVE's programme "Corazón, corazón" had - it was great! I loved to see the baptism and the footage from earlier on when they left the Ruber Clinic and at their holiday when Leonor had her cute little jeans on! :)

A big thanks to everyone who has provided all these wonderful pictures from Leonor's baptism today!

There are no photos. It is possible to see them heads in some photographies, because they are in the second row. The King Constantino and Ana Maria behind the Royal Family, and the rest behind Letizia's family. In the television they can be seen a bit more. ;)

The most beautiful thing about these photos and videos is that the happiness of the Prince and Princess is written all over their faces. They are beaming with happiness. And the image of the little Infanta looking at her mother and smiling is a treasure.

It's nice to see a Royal event that is so intimate.

And did you all catch that the Prince said they plan on having "muchos mas" (many more) children!

Thanks to all of you who have shared this wonderful album! I must say that I agree with you all who said the Princess of Asturias looks positively gorgeous! Happiness is indeed the best cosmetic for any woman. The ladies were actually all very elegant. The only think that is intriguing me is: WHERE IS FROILÁN AND HIS FAMOUS KICKS? :D

And, yes, that photo of Leonor smiling to her mum is absolutely moving!

Above all, I adore the simplicity of this ceremony and the fact it was kept very down-to-earth (as it generally happens with the Spanish Royal Family).:)

A few photos that weren't posted yet; from Elmundo and La Razon:

Radiant Princess

The experts say in beauty that there is no woman who does not improve after her first maternity. The hormones go off then to balance and to be left in her point a few happy and radiant mothers when finally they have her babies in arms. The Princess of Asturias was the alive image of the most beautiful placidness, of the natural balance between happiness and organism formed of the luminosity that it was radiating. I am not thinking myself about being wrong on having affirmed that before Dona Letizia had never been so radiant, not in her times of presentadora of Informative with the whole voltage of the areas on her face not so even the day of her wedding with the Prince. It was the target of an official portrait where she shone with own light. Yesterday it was her great day.

Once again Dona Letizia trusted in the good one to play the role of the designer Felipe Varela who on eve had gone on holidays after last weeks of intense work since of his workshop there went out all the garments that the direct relatives of the Princess illuminated since they are her grandmothers, her mother Paloma and her sisters Telma and Erika . (A journalist specialist in mode said today that the sisters not, and he( had all the information of the suits, so I believe that there is a small mistake;) )
The Princess succeeded squarely with " steal - manteau " (garment - coat of ceremony that allows you to sit you to eating without having that to remove yourself) of wool combed in brown tone inserted with tapes of silk in crude oil. With the totally recovered silhouette she returned to her thin heels with a shoe lounge in clear champagne. Sober in the accessories the most showy thing they were the long earrings of brilliant and pearls that were standing out for the locks of her lock. Very well macke up and brushed, Dona Letizia did not separate of her daughter during the time that lasted the ceremony and the regards to the representatives of the different Institutions. It was called the attention the starched well thing and ironing that was the skirt of christening of the Infanta Dona Leonor, the same one who in its day went the King Don Juan Carlos as well as her three children.
....
The one who did not pose in the official portraits was the current wife of Jesus Ortiz, Ana Togores. In opposition to the decision that took the day of the royal link this time the current lady of Ortiz yes was between the attendees though for reasons of protocol it did not appear in these photos of family. She occupied her place in the ceremony and during the posterior luncheon.

Since it comes being habitual in the last times, the Infanta Dona Elena returned to stand out between the most elegant. A set Chanel in clear tones and a necklace of pearls they were perfect for the ceremony. Her daughter Victoria Federica also adorned herself with a garment of taffeta with laces and enormous bow in the hair.
Again the grandsons of the Kings were the most rebellious of the day like it demonstrated when they surrounded the baptismal sink in the moment in which the Infanta was going to receive the benediction with water of the river Jordan of Rouco Varela's hands. The small ones could to playing with the sink while the Queen was asking for good behavior them with a gesture of her look.

I think that Cristina looks sad in the pics, and Iñaki too.

I must say I agree. I just hope everything is OK...

But well, everyone looked great. Letizia has a special mummy shine in her eyes, and the Kings looked so proud. I loved when the Queen said she was wrong when she said the then-newborn Leonor cried a lot, "Leonor is a very calm baby" - she added.
By the way, I love Thelma's sense of style. She always look simple but absolutely glamorous.

A new couple of videos from Terra can be found here:
http://actualidad.terra.es/especiales/leonor-de-borbon/articulo/principes_asturias_leonor_682697.htm

(Go to the links Ver Videos)

At first row there were sited the Kings, the Princes of Asturias with Infanta Leonor in the arms of her mother (who has caressed many times the cheeks of the little Infanta), the Dukes of Lugo and Palma. Doña Cristina seated little Irene on her knees.

Behind there were the other relatives of the Kings (like the sisters of Don Juan Carlos, Infantas Pilar and Margarita, with their respective families, and the brother and sister of Doña Sofía, Irene and Constantin of Greece, who has travelled to Madrid, accompanied by his wife, Ana Maria, and several of his children).

On the other side, it was located the family of Doña Letizia: her parents, Jesus and Paloma, her grandparents, Menchu, Enriqueta and Francisco, and the two sisters of the Princess, Telma and Erika, among other relatives.
