Queen Rania launches Early Grade Reading and Math Project

Amman, Apr 28 (Petra) –– Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdallah Tuesday launched the Early Grade Reading and Math Project (RAMP) at Dahiet Al Ameer Hassan Basic Mixed School in Amman.The project is led by RTI International in partnership with the Queen Rania Teacher Academy (QRTA).

Queen Rania: There is no time to waste on education reform
Amman, Aug 28 (Petra) –– Her Majesty Queen Rania said Sunday there is no time to waste when it comes to reforming Jordan’s education system, adding that every year lost without carrying out essential reforms means depriving a large group of students of good quality education.
The Queen made the remarks during a discussion about education challenges at the Queen Rania Teacher Academy (QRTA) with a group of teachers and members of the National Committee for Human Resources Development (HRD).

Queen Rania meets with the Lower House Education Committee
Amman, Jan. 16 (Petra) – Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah met with the Lower House Education Committee on Monday to discuss critical issues related to education reform, including the importance of teacher training in raising the kingdom’s overall standing in education.
The meeting, which took place at the Queen Rania Teacher Academy (QRTA), was attended by MPs who are members of parliament’s education committee. These included Head of Committee Dr. Musleh Al Tarawneh, Dr. Barakat Al Muheirat Al Abbadi, Dr. Suleiman Al Zaben, Dr. Safa’ Momani, Mohammad Riyatti, Ibtisam Nawafleh, Inssaf Khawaldeh, and Dr. Alia Abu Hlyayyel.

Queen Rania Meets Second Cohort of QRTA Teacher Education Professional Diploma
Amman, Oct. 11 (Petra)-- Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah visited the Queen Rania Teacher Academy (QRTA) on Wednesday, where she met members of the second cohort of the Teacher Education Professional Diploma (TEPD), who started their program orientation on October 8.
