I'm not from the middle east but I do know what you're talking about-the 'Fairouz-style' makeup. It's quite garish to say the least. But everytime I think of QR-I think of the song 'Maggie Mae' by Rod Stewart.....

Madame Onassis you sure wear it well.

That sums up what I think of QR pretty succintly. I think her beauty is manufactured through stylists and expensive clothes.

Rania loves attention too much. The dress she wore at the dinner prior to CP Felipe and Letizia Oritz's wedding was very inappropriate. Then she defied protocol by wearing a long skirt on the day of the wedding when guests were specifically asked to wear short-to-medium length dress skirts and hats. The wife of the CP of Bahrain was more appropriately dressed for the wedding than Q. Rania. Rania looked casual at the wedding. I wonder what she'll wear for CP Hamzah's wedding. I'm sure she'll try to find something that will take the attention even off of the bride herself. I'm disappointed in such immature behavior. Q. Noor never engaged in such guerilla-style fashion tactics.

I absolutly agree.I don't know what are rania's complexes to need all that attention and need to be the center of the world? ,is she feeling her self inferior?
As for Hamza's wedding,i'm sure that she would try to bring attentions to her, maybe she will wear a jeans, :P ,she knows that her pictures will be showen on jordanian TV and journals,we already have a foretaste in hamza's wedding when she was wearing a casual dress, when all others was wearing caftans and social oufits :P :P :flower:

I must agree with Banadoora...I noticed how queen rania was walking in a very weird way as if she was limping or is that how she usually walks?
Maybe Rania was walking weird because the red carpet was wet, I saw Queen Sophia was walking weird too, and she always walk like a Queen.

Yes, but then when Rania arrived (before the wedding) it didn´t rain!

Oh, I thought you were referring to the fact that one is high and one is low. :P Something got loose underneath, I think.

Okay, papillon, now that you mentioned it-there is definately something 'askew'.

But geesh....I thought I was obsessed with details. Also, it looks like the sparkly neck thing is what is actually holding the dress on.

No, honestly, I'm not obsessed. I thought that was the wardrobe or breast malfunction being referred to in the post because I didn't really see anything else wrong with the photo. I would've never noticed it without being pointed in that direction. :P

I'd have to say that the dress she wore to the pre-wedding gala was stunning. But it was inappropriate. In her attempt to outshine everyone else, Rania ended up looking like a fashion victim. Just goes to show how even the most expensive designer clothes can look out of place. Rania is so beautiful, I dont know why she goes to these extreme lenghts to prove that to everyone.

Some pictures from the Jordanian Independence Day.
She looks much prettier here:

I was referring to left one being loose, but that’s not all. The dress cups were empty anyways.
Do you see what I see?

I thought she looked stunning in both her outfits. The pre-wedding gala dress was gorgeous and I loved the outfit she wore for the actual wedding.

Rania was at a lunch banquet in honour of the sultan of Brunei.
I love the dress she's wearing..she's worn it before, in March during her visit to Dubai I believe.
