Here is a picture that I have not seen before of Queen Rania

Queen Rania of Jordan sits expectantly at a degree ceremony at Exeter University Queen Rania is to later receive her Honorary Doctor of Laws Degree from the university - Picture (not sure either how far back it was dated but it was after she got married)

Thanks. They must be from her trip to the US last year. I remember there was an MIT visit but I haven't seen these photos before.

Here are the Harper's Bazaar photos. They are from the British edition March 2008. The interview that goes with it is worth a read as well, if people can track down the magazine

Of course she does. She has lots of help with hair and make up, beautiful clothes, good camera angles like all ladies who are in these magazines I see her close up and she is not like this except very thin.

Yamamah, you've seen her close-up? Is she as beautiful in person? How tall is she? Tell us more please...

She is maybe 167 or 168cm tall, very, very thin and no, she look better in her pictures than in real life. She has very deep set eyes, funny nose, long jawline and wearing a lot, a lot of make up, very thick foundation make up and lots of eye makeup but she look good in her photos.

Thanks Yamamah! Funny, I always thought she had beautiful eyes and a really nice nose... I guess she's just very photogenic.

There are ridges in her nose up close, from when she had it altered probably because they have to shave off bone. Her eyes are deep set but the make up is very skillfully put on. There is a lot of make up. She looked nicer when she was a new queen, more natural. She visited an art gallery in Amman when I was there with my aunt when she was new queen and she looked charming and natural. Next we see her in Dubai and she is very make up and false from when she was before.

Please don't think I am saying she is ugly. No I am not. I am saying she was better when she was more herself and less like fashion model with so much make up and so skinny.

Also, all photo's are edited in these magazines and bad parts brushed out. They do it to all ladies in magazines.
