To all of Queen Rania's critics out there:

None of us could do the job that she has to do, and at so young an age. Imagine being a "First Lady" at 28 (she was only 28 when she became queen). I think Queen Rania is doing fantastic job of representing her country. I think Queen Noor did a great job too! I like them both.

I don't agree with everything Her Majesty says and does, but I realize that she is human, as was King Hussein, as is King Abdullah and Queen Noor. We all make mistakes and show errors in judgment.

I know a lot has been said about QR and that KA is ready to divorce her etc. What has she done to warrant her husband divorcing her? If she has done anything wrong, what proof do any of you have of her wrongdoing? Even if KA does divorce Rania, she is still the mother of his children, the mother of his firstborn son and future king, Prince Al-Hussein (yes, I think he will be King). Even after KH divorced P. Muna, KH still maintained a close friendship with P. Muna because she was the mother of his firstborn son. The relationship was so good that P. Muna even took care of the King's children with Queen Alia.

If KA takes a 2nd wife, it does not mean QR has done wrong. It only means that just like most men, they are not easily satisified with just one woman.

One of my favourite photos of Queen Rania. This one was taken in the summer of 2002 in the gardens of Raghadan Palace in Amman.
