Queen Rania Distinguished Teacher Award launched
(Office of Her Majesty, The Jordan Times - Amman) AMMAN — Marking Teachers' Day, His Majesty King Abdullah on Wednesday launched the Queen Rania Distinguished Teacher Award, seeking to spread the spirit of competitiveness among the Kingdom's educators. Joining a workshop of 25 teachers yesterday to discuss the characteristics necessary to excel in the profession and to set a strategy for success in the field, Their Majesties King Abdullah and Queen Rania voiced their support for teachers in the Kingdom. Queen Rania Excellence Award for Teaching - Logo Launch Jordan Times, Mohammad Ghazal - Amman) Her Majesty Queen Rania joined public high school students from around the Kingdom in Amman on Sunday in a discussion during which they briefed her on their criteria for a distinguished teacher. The meeting took place during the launch of the logo for the Queen Rania Excellence Award for Teaching, which is dedicated to distinguished teachers this year. a recommendation: i think she should get her hair cut now as it looks too long, at least in my opinion...if it's a bit shorter, it will look much healthier... i don't like the outfit as it doesn't really look "put together" but those shoes are beautiful...very unique |

Sunday, September 3, 2006 Meeting with assessors of the QAEE Her Majesty meets with assessors of the Queen Rania Award for Excellence in Education Her Majesty Queen Rania Al-Abdullah met, Sunday, with the assessors of the Queen Rania Award for Excellence in Education where the assessors briefed Her Majesty on the progress of the selection process. The meeting comes a few days before the field visits to schools begin. In this phase the assessors will visit the qualified candidates in their respective schools. These visits will open the door for discussion between the assessors and the teachers regarding different educational practices and possible ways to develop experiences and transfer knowledge. Queen Rania returns to Tafileh Queen Rania visits Kingdom's top teacher (Office of Her Majesty, Press Department - Tafileh) Nae'em Al-Bawayzeh, one of the recipients of the Queen Rania Award for Distinguished Teachers in 2006, had Her Majesty Queen Rania Al-Abdullah as an avid listener during his class today. Queen Rania visited the Arafeh Primary School for Boys in Tafileh, where she sat amongst the first grade pupils as they eagerly demonstrated their reading skills in front of the Queen. Wednesday, April 23, 2008 Queen Rania Award Al Abdullah for Excellence in Education (QRAEE) Queen Rania launches third round of Award for Distinguished Teachers in Deir Abi S'eed Comprehensive Secondary School for Girls (Office of Her Majesty, Press Department - Amman) In affirmation of Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah's direct support for teachers in general and the Queen Rania Award for Distinguished Teachers, aimed at urging them to excel at what they do, Her Majesty visited the Deir Abi S'eed Comprehensive Secondary School for Girls in the Koura District, on Wednesday, to launch the third round of the Award. The Deir Abi S'eed Comprehensive Secondary School for Girls is considered a model school in the region and a beacon for dialogue, freedom of expression and constructive interaction. In addition, the school is host to the highest number of Award finalists for two years, with five teachers making it to the finals. Queen Rania's visit was part of her follow-up on the application phase. Her visit also served to support teachers who are completing their nomination applications nationwide.
