Queen Rania checks on two Jerash schools

...

During the tour, the teaching staff briefed Her Majesty about the benefits of the renovation process, which significantly raised students’ motivation to learn and... - Article

I have just a question about Madasrati, it's looking like a renovation initiative. But what's extremly shocking for me, is the participation of children at those hard activities wich are the responsability of the ministry or at the schools direction and certainly not the "job" of children for who school must mean only an education place or children activities.
This is a question and I really nead to know if it's "legal" and "moral" to ask children to give themselves a good studying conditions. The poor can't say no to the ask of the queen, but...is it a thing you can accept for your own children? I think I'l never accept my children go to school specialy to do this work. Never admit they go school to prepare their classroom... "C'est horrible".
CHILD LABOR ISN'T IT?
what next? they will build schools if necessary?!!!!
The right response is to ask adults to participate and only adults, and then be really just.
Really can't believe a person can accept this!!! or perhap's I'm special, I'm French?;)

You can read more about it on the official web site

It has nothing to do with child labour, if it did, It wouldnt of gotten all the positive press it got.
They have asked parents, community members, teachers, private sectors and also students to participate in this, not just children. Its more of a team work which will improve the conditions of the school.

YGL mobilises Phonak to donate hearing aids to Zarqa school

AMMAN (JT) - Her Majesty Queen Rania on Monday visited two specialised schools for hearing-impaired children in Zarqa, which were recently renovated under the Madrasati initiative.

. . . The schoolchildren have recently received new hearing equipment and free medical checkups as part of a JD120,000 donation provided by the Phonak Group, which specialises in the design, development, production and worldwide distribution of technologically advanced wireless and hearing systems.

. . . Earlier on Monday, Her Majesty visited the Queen Alia School for the Hearing Impaired, also a Madrasati Phase I school, sponsored by Orange, accompanied by Madrasati Director Danah Dajani, Orange CEO Nayla Khawam and School Principal Fatmeh Kharabshe.
Queen Rania toured the newly renovated classrooms and sat with a group of children who were being entertained by a magician, then joined another group of hearing-impaired children as their teacher told them a short story in sign language. Jordan Times

I am very happy to hear that QR visited two specialized schools for hearing-impaired children in Zarqa. That's great that the children received the new hearing equipment and free medical check-ups. I am a hearing-impaired myself and I am wearing the hearing aids. I hope the kids will be able to hear with the new hearing equipment.

Yes, Chantal - it would be a great thing! I'm also looking forward to seeing some pictures as it's a pleasure to see children's happy faces when the Queen visits them...

Thanks for the photo, There's also an article about the trip:

AMMAN (JT) - The success of the Madrasati initiative could easily be seen and heard during a gathering at the Um Al Manee School in Sweileh on Sunday, where students told Her Majesty Queen Rania about its benefits.
