Amman, May 2 (Petra) -- Under the Royal patronage of Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah the Cooperation Company will hold its annual dinner banquette ceremony on Tuesday in the Four Seasons Hotel. During the ceremony, which will be attended by a number of economic and intellectual figures, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the company Abdul Hamid Shouman will be honoured. The ceremony will also include two speeches of the company's ambassador of good well Duraid Lahham and the company's vice-chairman of board of trustees Abdul Muhsin Qattan. |

Queen Rania Participates in Annual Charity Activity of the Welfare Association</FONT></STRONG> Pet0119 4 0299 Queen Rania Participates in Annual Charity Activity of the Welfare Association Amman, May 6(Petra)-- Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah participated in the annual charity activity of the Welfare Association working in the field of promoting development's efforts and supporting the Palestinian national institutions' work. The Queen's participation comes within her Majesty's efforts that aim at supporting non- governmental institutions, which support humanitarian issues worldwide. Acting Chairman of the Association's Board of Trustees Abdel Muhsen Qattan delivered a speech in which he noted that the Queen's participation in the event reflects her Majesty's belief in the role of the developmental and humanitarian work at the national, regional and international levels. He also presented a briefing on the duties of the Association, pointing to the role of the Association's founder Abdel Majid Shoman in the various fields. The Welfare Association is a private, non-profit foundation established in Geneva in 1983 to support Palestinian society in sustainable development.
