thanks for the pics...i didn't like full view of the dress but the color is fabulous...i also like the top she wore while shopping in paris...you know, for those of us who can't or don't want show too much skin, it becomes really difficult to wear stylish clothing - especially in the summer when alll you find in stores are horrendously small tops...but rania seems to balance both needs - she's fashionable and yet, she's not showing much skin (majority of the time)...

she is really in love with that prada jacket...the only other time she bought multiple pieces of same clothing in different colors was with that prada tie dye dress...

yes thats true, although the Prada dresses were also slightly different in patterns.
I remember a long time ago buying the same shirt in three colours because I liked it so much. And ofcourse last year I bought the same pair of pants in black and white, they fit so nicely. Its not very often that one finds a piece of clothing that looks absolutely perfect and fits like a glove so why not buy more than one? That must be true even for someone like Rania who has so many clothes.

do you mean to say that her pr people let photographers know that rania will be at such and such store at a specific time???? does anyone do that??? i mean, why in the world would they? i can see why you want someone photographing you doing some work-related stuff but during vacation...wouldn't she want to be left alone?

Its not just Rania who gets photographed while shopping. All celebs do, even while doing their grocery shopping. Thats what the paparazzi do, they photograph famous people even during their private moments.
In Jordan ofcourse the royal family has more control over the media, photographers cant invade Rania's privacy. But overseas and in Europe especially where the tabloid and paparazzi culture is so rampant, she has no control over who follows her around.
If you look at the pictures taken inside the store, you can see that they're taken from a distance or from outside the store windows. That sounds like a tactic the paparazzi would use.

Like with other famous people, there are likely a group of paparazzi who follow Rania exclusively, so they go wherever she goes and get such pictures. I don't think it's a matter of her people informing anyone that she's going shopping. If you read any of the tabloid magazines or People or US Weekly or In Touch, I doubt that anyone from Britney Spears' camp is calling them to say that Britney is going to Crispy Creme yet the pictures are there anyways.

There have been plenty of other royals pictured shopping. Madeleine of Sweden, Elena of Spain shopping at IKEA, Letizia and Felipe of Spain shopping, Marie Chantal of Greece, etc. Rania is not isolated in this matter -- the papazzi will go after anyone whom they think can make them a dollar. :(

yes I've seen plenty of pictures of other royals shopping, even pictures of Princess Letizia's family members going about their daily activities. The difference is that these royals are photographed this way both in their own countries and abroad.
Besides, Rania is shopping in broad daylight, why would it be hard for a paparrazi to find her. Those people spend 24hours a day looking for famous people to photograph.

oh and I forgot to mention something else. I remember being amazed at seeing all the pictures of the Crown Prince and Crown Princess of Brunei at their honeymoon in Italy. The Bruneian royal family is so private and none of those pictures were ever published in Brunei. But the couple was photographed by the Italian paparazzi at almost every different location they went to in Milan, Rome, Venice etc., whether they were leaving or arriving at their hotel, crossing a street, or at an amusement park! This despite the fact that very few people are familiar with the Bruneian royal family, as opposed to other royal houses. And Rania, after all, is one of most high profile royal women around, not just in her own region but internationally. So it would be impossible to keep her arrival in Paris a secret, or the arrival of any other royal for that matter.

I just want to comment about the store that Rania went shopping in called Bon Marche, it is a department store but it is certainly not as exclusive as Dior or anything like that.It is really just a regular shop that has some high end merchandise and some run of the mill things.I lived in Paris for many years and shopped there regularly and I am by no means as wealthy as they are.

Have you guys seen her entourage ? Impressive I think , seems like her Majesty is treating alot of people to a lovely shopping spree , not just her kids and mother, thats just sweet !:)
