Queen Noor transferred her Jordan River Design (est. in 1987) to Princess Rania's Jordan River for Development Projects. The result was the Jordan River Foundation, a new NGO, launched in 1995. This is obviously several years before Rania became Queen.
There are several pictures of Rania (then princess) showing Noor around at some of the earliest JRF events (you can see two of them here, in the second pic you can also see Princess Ghida)
The JRF, being an amalgamation of two organizations, deals with a lot more than traditional handicrafts (as did Noor's Jordan River Design). Over the last several years it has become deeply involved with women and children's rights, protection of orphans, the Dar al Aman Centre for neglected children, the launch of child safety programs (the first of which was established in 1997, two years before Rania became Queen), a children's help phoneline, youth initiatives etc. There's a lot more info. in the previous pages of this thread (a timeline in post 17) and here: Jordan River Foundation
So basically, Princess Rania's existing NGO for developmental projects was given Queen Noor's initiative to promote traditional handicrafts and designs. The JRF retains this aspect and promotes traditional Jordanian crafts both at home and abroad, however it has never been under Queen Noor's patronage.

Ok thanks alot Yamamah and Humera.
I've heard alot about Queen noor relations with the Jordan River Foundation...I think it's nice Queen noor helped in the lunch of the Foundation's work and also that she supported Rania in her early years as Princess.

Queen follows up on development efforts in Ajloun
AMMAN (JT) - Her Majesty Queen Rania on Wednesday visited the Kufranjah District in Ajloun to follow up on Jordan River Foundation (JRF) programmes in the area.
During her visit to the Khawlah Bint Al Azwar Elementary School, a Madrasati phase II school, Queen Rania was briefed by a teacher and mothers about training programmes and income-generating projects administered by the JRF in the area.
Queen Rania was also updated on a project to transform the school into a “green school” by a representative from the Terra Vertis Company.
Following the school visit, Queen Rania toured an olive farm in the area where she met with the workers in the fields. Queen follows up on development efforts in Ajloun | Jordan Times

I think how she did not only focus on school visits, interesting she visited an olive farm, must of been a great visit & the farmers must been quite delighted by the visit. She looked really nice IMO.

possible visit to Italy in January
Alberta Ferretti - Alberta Ferretti To Use Real Women In Shows - Contactmusic News
. . . The designer has also pledged to make a donation to The Jordan River Foundation - a non-profit Jordanian non-governmental organisation working to empower women and children, and chaired by Queen Rania of Jordan.
The queen has been invited to attend the fashion show at the Santo Stefano al Ponte church in Florence Italy.

What a lovely event to link to for charity, especially that Rania is a fan or at least has been seen in Ferretti's outfits. Im pretty sure Rania would be making an attendance to the show especially that it's linked to her foundation.
Thanks for the info Humera

Looks like Queen Rania didn't attend the show, I haven't come across any pictures:
. . . The evening benefited Queen Rania's Jordan River Foundation, which supports, said Ferretti, "the emancipation and innovation of all women." So her models also included a psychologist, a lawyer, and a researcher… Camilla Belle, Marisa Berenson, and More at Alberta Ferretti's Pitti Uomo Show
