King, Queen attend annual charity event of Jordan River Foundation

Nice picture, anymore from the event? And when was this event because I could not find anything on petra or jordan times.

On Thursday (yesterday) evening:

Amman, March 20, (Petra)--His Majesty King Abdullah II and Queen Rania Al-Abdullah on Thursday evening attended the annual charity event of Jordan River Foundation (JRF) held at King Hussein Convention Center at the Dead Sea area and dedicated to raise funds for JRF's different childhood, rehabilitation and development programmes.

Queen briefed on Qudorat programme

Her Majesty Queen Rania on Tuesday attended the opening of the Qudorat Exhibition where representatives from 87 community-based organisations (CBOs) displayed a diverse range of products.

More than 200 representatives from Parliament, government agencies, donors, NGOs and other CBOs participated in the exhibition at Al Hussein Sports City, which was organised by the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation, the Jordan River Foundation (JRF) and the Noor Al Hussein Foundation (NHF). Preventing violence against children is a shared responsibility - Queen

Her Majesty Queen Rania, chairperson of the JRF and a strong advocate of child rights, participated in the event, where she underscored that each and every individual and institution shoulder a responsibility in preventing violence against children.
The Queen signed a wall painting by artists and children which calls for denouncing and eliminating child abuse and lit a candle for the souls of the two children, who perished at a very early age after being subject to domestic violence.... - Read more here

Queen Rania joins Arab youth in regional workshop on prevention of child abuse

As a staunch defender of children’s rights, Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah, on Thursday, discussed the issue of child abuse with 80 students hailing from sixteen different Arab countries in a regional workshop hosted by the Jordan River Foundation (JRF) in coordination with the League of Arab States.
