The venue of the Roman amphitheatre was impressive, I think I also saw Princess Wejdan in one of the pictures, sitting in the row behind the King and Queen’s children.

King, Queen honor Himmeh winners during National Award Celebration

Amman, June 28 (Petra) -- His Majesty King Abdullah II and Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah on Sunday honored the ten Ahel al Himmeh winners in a ceremony set amidst the monumental architecture of the Roman Amphitheatre in downtown Amman.

In a televised celebration which recognized the efforts of those Jordanians who created positive and lasting change in their communities, Her Majesty said: "You can find a lot of people who are Ahel al Himmeh, they are all over Jordan. The final nominees, who are with us tonight, represent thousands of Jordanians who work to help others, whether as individuals, groups or associations, bringing together volunteers to strengthen their community." Loved all outfits. Princess Muna and Aisha are stunning! A pity there's no close pic of Queen Rania's face.

Beatiful pictures, Salma and Dazzling!
The Royal Couple and Family look really exhilarated. This must have been a wonderful experience for the celebration's participants to see everything live.

Despite the captions it is not an Amphitheater but a Roman theater (the Cavea is only a semicircle there); the Colosseum in Rome is the typical Roman Amphitheater; it looks like a stadium or arena (full circle).
