It's obvious that she had a face lift during her recent trip to Brazil, and the overall characteristics of her face have changed as a result. The shape of her face is different now as well due to the hairline being set back and sitting a bit higher - a frequent side effect of a face lift, just look at Princess Michael.
In Princess Michael's case, I actually like the result, but I'm having a hard time getting used to Queen Silvia's 'New face'. The fact that she feels she needs this is her own private business IMO, Queen or not, so I don't condemn her at all, it's just that the whole issue makes me feel rather sad...
