After some e-mailing I found out which book it is they are reviewing in the article. It seems that the women bit is 1/3 of the book. But still quite interesting!
It is obviously published in Norwegian, but I guess that Swedes and Danes and others who are familiar with the Scandinavian languages can enjoy this book too.

Translation of description given by the publishers;
The Norwegian monarchy has a history which streches over 1100 years. During this time Norway has had more than 60 monarchs. All (with one exeption) were men, that is Kings; some we have had to ourselves, some have we shared with our neighbouring countries. For the first time in 60 years there is now published a complete overview of Norwegian Kings and Queens through the times, from Harald Finehair to Harald 5. The book is divided into an overview of the royal powers development from the Viking age until the present. After that we get to know the persons behind the titles – first the monarchs, divided into historical eras and chronological order, then the kings wives, in alphabetical order. The book is richly illustrated with portraits, family trees, monograms etc.
