No offence, but these dates are 100 years in advance... Louis XIV,
le Roi Soleil, is the key figure of XVII century France. He was born in 1638 and became effectively king of France in 1661 (although Anne of Austria's regency officially ended in 1651, when Louis was 13 years old).
