The royal children doesn't take part in the parade on a regular basis (that is, Marius might, since he technically isn't royal). CP Haakon and Princess Märtha went once, and that was when they were Russ (Russ is part of the Norwegian High School graduation - they muck about from late April to 17 of May). Otherwise they are "stuck" on the balcony. I've heard somewhere that they stay on the balcony for 3 hours straight
