Hamdan Wins Again in Doha

Dubai’s Crown Prince, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, led the UAE team to win the gold medal at the Arab Games 120km endurance race in Doha. Haya named President of the Dubai Healthcare City Authority

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Ruler of Dubai, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister has issued a decree establishing a public authority to oversee Dubai Healthcare City (DHC) who named Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein as president of the authority. Princess Haya will oversee the financial and administrative work and will have full legal capacity to achieve its objectives of the Dubai Healthcare City.

UAE President Breaks His Arm

The UAE Ministry of Presidential Affairs announced today (January 10, 2011) that President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan broke his arm during his daily exercise routine. The announcement also said that His Highness the President will take a few days off resting to recover. Nothing was mentioned as to exactly when or where the accident happened.
