Te Deum and Congratulations For Prince Oscar

The birth of prince Oscar has lead to a stream of congratulations for his parents and his big sister. In the afternoon there was a gun salute of 21 canon shots in Stockholm. It’s A Boy for Victoria and Daniel: HRH Prince Oscar Carl Olof, Duke of Skåne

Crown Princess Victoria has given birth to a baby boy yesterday. The baby was born at 20:28 at the Karolinska Institut in Solna. The small prince weighs 3,655 kg. New Stamps To Mark Swedish Anniversaries

The Swedish court released three special stamps to mark their two special celebrations of 2016. The king and queen will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary this year and on April 30th the king will celebrate his 70th birthday.
