Count Carl Johan Bernadotte has Died

Count Carl Johan Bernadotte, uncle of King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden and Queen Margrethe II of Denmark, has passed away at the age of 95. The news was announced several hours ago by the Swedish Royal Court. The Count passed away yesterday, May 5th. Sweden’s infant Princess Estelle made her balcony debut today, celebrating her grandfather’s 66th birthday. Swedish Princess Named Estelle

UPDATE 24/02/12 at 06:33: King Carl XVI Gustaf has just announced that the newborn daughter of Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel has been named Estelle Silvia Ewa Mary. She has the title Duchess Of Östergötland.
Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel of Sweden are the proud parents of a newborn baby girl. The infant, second in line for the Swedish throne, was born at 04:26 this morning, February 23rd at the Karolinska University Hospital in Solna. She weighed 3200 grams and was 51 centimetres long.
