King Felipe and Queen Letizia of Spain have visited the Belgian Embassy in Madrid to pay their respects to the victims of yesterday’s terrorist attacks in Brussels. Belgian King, Fellow Monarchs React To Brussels Attacks

At least 28 people have been killed in Brussels this morning, as explosions occurred at the city’s airport and at a metro station. The Belgian Royal Court issued a statement from King Philippe, saying that he and Queen Mathilde were “shocked by the horrific attacks” on the city. Beltrán Gómez-Acebo y Borbón,  youngest son of Infanta Pilar of Spain, married his fiancée Andrea Pascual in a discreet ceremony this morning. Queen Letizia of Spain visited the school ‘Niño Jesus’ in Madrid yesterday to mark the 50th anniversary of the school. The school is part of the Children’s University hospital in Madrid and offers lessons to children that are being treated in the hospital.
