The Last Day in Malaysia

The final day of the 3-day official visit to Malaysia started with the visit to an exhibition on Norwegian architecture in Kuala Lumpur. The exhibition was officially opened by Crown Princess Mette-Marit and deals with the relationship between nature and architecture. Haakon at the World Economic Forum

Mette-Marit: Ski instructor for a day

Crown Princess Mette-Marit visited the Hvalstad school in Asker on Sunday afternoon. She took part at the “ski-day” for underage asylum seekers. The Crown Princess participated actively in various activities like tobogganing, cross country and barbecuing of hot dogs on the campfire. Haakon and Marius attend Benefit Concert for Haiti

On January 24th 2010 Crown Prince Haakon and Marius Borg Hoiby attended a benefit concert for earthquake victims in Haiti at the Opera in Oslo. Prince Haakon was impressed by the spirit of voluntary work and told the newspaper VG that he was deeply affected by the pictures showing the destructions and misery in Haiti. Yesterday the Royal Family of Norway gathered together for the annual Christmas shooting at the Palace. In the Great Hall a giant gingerbread house was set up and decorated in the traditional way.
