70th Anniversary of Grand Duchess Charlotte’s Return to Luxembourg

Today marks the 70th anniversary of Grand Duchess Charlotte’s return to Luxembourg after a five-year exile during World War Two. A commemoration was held at Clairefontaine Square in Luxembourg City. Grand Duke Henri Honours Former IOC President

Older Brother of Luxembourg’s Grand Duchess Dies

The Luxembourg Grand Ducal Court announced this evening the death of José Antonio Mestre, the older brother of Grand Duchess Maria Teresa. Mr Mestre passed away at his home in Miami, Florida at the age of 62. No cause of death was announced. He suffered serious cardiovascular problems in 2011, which resulted in a week-long coma. Princess Alexandra Visits Red Cross Bazaar

Princess Alexandra of Luxembourg paid a visit to the Red Cross Bazaar in Limpertsberg on Sunday. Grand Duchess Maria Theresa usually attends this event, however she is still recovering from knee surgery.
