Willem-Alexander & Máxima Launch ‘Dream’ Book and Exhibit

King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima yesterday launched the ‘Dream at Het Loo Palace’ exhibition, which showcases 120 of the dreams featured in Droomboek (Dream Book) released to mark the King’s inauguration in April. Prince Friso Laid To Rest

Prince Friso of Orange-Nassau was laid to rest yesterday afternoon, in a private funeral at the Stulpkerk in Lage Vuursche. His bereaved family made their way to the church on foot from Drakensteyn Castle, Prince Friso’s childhood home. The Prince’s two daughters, Countesses Luana and Zaria, along with his nieces and nephews were all wearing white outfits. Funeral of Prince Friso To Be Held This Afternoon

Prince Friso Has Passed Away

The Dutch Royal Court has just announced that Prince Friso, the second son of Princess Beatrix, has passed away from complications in his health. He was 44. The Prince has been in a coma for over a year following a skiing accident in Austria in February 2012. Queen Maxima Visits “Oranje Fonds Kroonappels” Winners

On Tuesday July 9th, Queen Maxima was in Leiden to visit “Best Buddies Netherlands”. Prince Friso Leaves Hospital, Back in Holland

The Dutch Government Information Service (RVD) has just announced that Prince Friso, the second son of Princess Beatrix, has left the Wellington Hospital in London and has been returned to the Netherlands. The Queen of the Netherlands was in Utrecht today, where she officially opened the Máximapark. Arriving at 10am, Queen Máxima first visited the park restaurant, before heading over to the ceremony site on a bicycle. Son for Floris and Aimée

The Dutch Royal Court has just announced that Prince Floris and Princess Aimée are the parents of a healthy son. The infant was born today, July 1st, at 13:32, Dutch time, at the Bronovo Hospital in The Hague. He has been named Willem Jan Johannes Pieter Floris, to be called Willem Jan.
