Crown Prince Frederik at School Olympics Final

The Crown Prince of Denmark today was present at the final of the School Olympics at the Østerbro Stadium. Around 7,600 students from 320 schools around the country participated in the sports day, which mirrored the actual Olympics but on a smaller scale (naturally!). Princess Isabella Baptises Ferry in Samsø

It was a mother-daughter day for Crown Princess Mary and Princess Isabella today on the island of Samsø, where the eight-year-old undertook her first official engagement, the baptism of a ferry boat named M/F Prinsesse Isabella. Danish Royals Celebrate 1915 Constitution Anniversary

Following on from last night’s concert, the Danish Royal Family was out in force to again mark the 100th anniversary of the 1915 Constitution. The family attended a reception at Christiansborg Palace, hosted by the Danish Parliament. Crown Princess Mary Presents Medals at Children’s Relay

Denmark’s Crown Princess Mary was in Aarhus today, where she attended the annual Free From Bullying children’s relay that is held in conjunction with her foundation. Princess Marie Bakes With School Children

As patron of DanChurchAid, Princess Marie attended a campaign ‘Behind So it Batter!’ at the N. Zahle Seminarie School in Copenhagen. Princess Marie baked with 4th graders and then helped them sell their stuff during recess. The concept of the campaign is to get people to bake whatever they want, sell their stuff and donate the money to DanChurchAid. DanChurchAid then donates the money to combat hinger around the world.

Queen Margrethe II was one of 130 specially invited guests to tour the refurbished Clay Ceramics Museum in Middelfart this morning ahead of its reopening to the public tomorrow. Crown Princess Mary Opens New Bridge Walk

Denmark’s Princess Elisabeth Turns 80

She was born in Copenhagen in 1935 to Prince Knud of Denmark and his wife Caroline-Mathilde, and was first grandchild of King Christian X and Queen Alexandrine.
