Denmark Votes “Yes” for Equal Primogeniture

The Danish Constitution on the Act of Succession will be ammended to allow the monarch’s first-born child of either gender to succeed the throne, following the successful referendum on equal primogeniture this weekend. Royal Dachshund Bites Royal Bodyguard

Evita, the 11-year-old dauchshund of Prince Henrik, has biten a royal bodyguard, leaving the man in hospital needing stitches and a tetanus shot. The incident occured on Saturday May 30th, when the guard was walking Evita around the gardens of the Danish royal summer residence, Fredensborg Palace. The visit of the Greek President and First Lady to Denmark began yesterday. For the arrival at the airport, HM Queen Margrethe wore a summery pink suit, combined with a white top, matching hat and black shoes.
