Flashback Friday: A Young Prince Charles On Archaeological Dig

Back in 1968, Prince Charles was a student at Trinity College, Cambridge undertaking a course in archaeology and physical and social anthropology. As part of his studies, the 19-year-old Prince went to France and Jersey on archaeological digs in March and April that year. In the below photo, dated April 1, 1968, he is seen taking part in an excavation at a Palaeolithic site in La Cotte de St Brelade, Jersey.

Zara Tindall Takes Rum Expectations Around the Course at Gatcombe Trials

The Phillips Girls Enjoy The Sun At Gatcombe Horse Trials

Savannah and Isla Phillips took advantage of the shining sunlight today while at the Gatcombe Horse Trials in Gloucestershire by enjoying a sweet treat – ice-cream. The two eldest great-grandchildren of Queen Elizabeth sat quietly with their mother, Autumn Phillips, as they watched the event on their grandmother’s estate. Later in the afternoon Princess Anne presented medals to the day’s winning riders.

Happy Maundy Thursday! Queen Marks Day at St George’s Chapel, Windsor

For the first time since 1959, the Royal Maundy Service took place today – Maundy Thursday – at St George’s Chapel in Windsor. A Royal Visit for the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards at their Scottish Base

The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards had a visit from their Deputy Colonel-in-Chief, the Duke of Kent, today at their base in Scotland. The Duke was given a tour of Leuchars Station, located in Fife, that has been the home base of the regiment since the middle of 2015. Prince Harry Highlights Importance of Tourism For Nepal

Continuing his visit to Nepal, Prince Harry today highlighted the important role tourism plays in helping Nepal recover from last year’s disastrous earthquake.
