The Buckingham Palace announced on Friday that the Duke of Cambridge has been appointed a Knight of the Most Ancient and Most Noble Order of the Thistle. Queen Victoria’s Private Journals Go Online

Queen Elizabeth officially launched the Queen Victoria Journals Online Project on May 24. Previously, Queen Victoria’s journals were only accessible by appointment at the Royal Archives at Windsor Castle; now, however, everyone can enjoy the historical documents. Remembering Queen Victoria Eugenia of Spain

On the 15th of April 1969, HM Queen Victoria Eugenia of Spain passed away, aged 81 at Lausanne, Switzerland. A granddaughter of Queen Victoria, she was born at Balmoral in October 1887. On her seventh wedding anniversary, the Duchess of Cornwall has been made a Dame Grand Cross of the Royal Victorian Order by Queen Elizabeth II. Buckingham Palace announced the appointment a few hours ago, in the morning of April 9th. Peter & Autumn Phillips Welcome Second Daughter

Peter and Autumn Phillips, the son and daughter-in-law of The Princess Royal, welcomed their second daughter on Thursday March 29th. The infant was born at the Gloucestershire Royal Infirmary, and has been named Isla Elizabeth. She weighed 3.28kilograms. She joins elder sister Savannah, fifteen months. Isla is the second grandchild of Princess Anne, and the second great-grandchild of Queen Elizabeth II.
