On Wednesday April 5, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of the Belgians welcomed the Secretary-General of the United Nations to the Royal Palace of Laeken for lunch. The couple posed for photos with António Guterres before sitting down for a meal. The Secretary-General was in Belgium for the Syrian Aid Conference. Queen Paola Breaks Hip In Fall, To Undergo Surgery

79-year-old Queen Paola has broken her hip in a nasty fall at her home, Belvédère Castle, the Belgian Royal Court said in a statement released today.
