Royal Glasshouses in Laeken Open to Raise Money For Queen’s Fund

The beautiful royal glasshouses of Laeken Palace, Brussels will be opened from April 15th to May 6th. A visit will cost 2,50 Euros. The proceeds will go to the Queen’s Fund, a foundation that helps Belgian families in need. Queen Fabiola left her entire estate to this fund, as became clear last month. Mathilde Looks Lovely in Pink During Hospital Visit

Queen Mathilde of Belgium visited the Queen Astrid Military Hospital of Neder-over-Heembeek near Brussels. The Queen looked lovely in a pale pink outfit, probably by her favourite designer Natan. King Philippe of the Belgians, his wife Queen Mathilde and their four children are spending their annual winter vacation in Verbier, Switzerland. The Belgian palace released several photos of the family on skis. Crown Princess Elisabeth, Prince Gabriël, Prince Emmanuel and Princess Eléonore can enjoy the Swiss slopes for the rest of the week. Palace Releases Details of Fabiola’s Inheritance

Almost fourteen months after Queen Fabiola of the Belgians passed away, the palace announced that her inheritance has finally been distributed. The sole benificiary seems to be the ‘Aid Fund of the Queen’. The fund helps Belgians in need and is currently chaired by Queen Mathilde.
