Tax Authorities Will Investigate Infanta Pilar’s Offshore Firm

The Mysterious Ending of Queen Juliana’s Half Brother

Pim Lier, half brother of the late Queen Juliana, featured regularly in the Dutch news since his existance was discovered in 1979. In 1986 he made headlines again when he killed his wife Petra. Her Royal Highness Duchess Ameli of Oldenburg, née Princess zu Löwenstein-Wertheim-Freudenberg, passed away at Eutin on 26 March 2016, aged 93. She was born on 4 March 1923 as the eldest child of Fürst Udo zu Löwenstein-Wertheim-Freudenberg and of his wife, née Countess Margarete zu Castell-Castell.
