Dutch King Installs New Government

King Willem-Alexander has installed the new Dutch government at Palace Noordeinde in The Hague this morning. It is the first time that the king installs a government, though he did install several ministers who joined the previous cabinet after the abdication of his mother in 2013. Princess Lea Wants to Sell Her Castle

Newspaper La Libre reports that Princess Lea has put her castle in Marche -en-Famenne (Belgian Luxembourg) for sale. The widow of prince Alexandre of Belgium bought the castle in 2011 and renovated it in 2016. See the photos here. Cremation Ceremony of King Rama IX Has Started

The cremation ceremony of King Rama IX have started in Thailand. The urn of the late king Bhumibol Adulyadej, 9th monarch of the Chakri dynasty, is transported to the crematorium at the Sanam Luang Royal Plaza in a solemn procession that lasts for several hours and is broadcasted live on television. Crown Princess Elisabeth of Belgium has used the social media accounts of the Belgian Palace to thank everybody for the birthday wishes she has received. The palace also released three new photos of the princess on their Facebook and Instagram accounts. The photos were accompanied by the hashtag: #sweetsixteen. Princess Elisabeth was born on the 25th of October 2001, at 21:58 exactly.
