Frederik and Mary Visit Danish Minority in Flensburg

On May 6th, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary visited the town of Flensburg in the state of Schleswig-Holstein, just below the Danish-German border. The aim of the royal couple’s visit was to visit the Danish minority living in the city. Dutch Royals Visit Koninginnedag Crash Wounded

Following the attempt on their lives at Thursday’s Koninginnedag (Queen’s Day) festivities in Apeldoorn, several members of the Dutch Royal Family yesterday visited the wounded victims of the tragic car crash which has claimed six lives, plus that of the perpetrator. Prince Henrik Presents African Art ahead of Exhibition Opening

Crown Princess Victoria awards Scholarship

Yesterday, Sweden’s Crown Princess Victoria attended the Sweden-America Foundation’s ninetieth anniversary celebrations in Stockholm. Prince Bernhard Undergoes Surgery

Prince Bernhard, a nephew of Queen Beatrix, has undergone intestinal surgery to remove benign tissue in his bowel. The surgery took place yesterday at the Academic Medical Center in Amsterdam, and was performed by Dr WA Bemelmans. The RVD reported that the surgery went to plan, and the Prince is recovering.
