Peter & Autumn Phillips Welcome Second Daughter

Peter and Autumn Phillips, the son and daughter-in-law of The Princess Royal, welcomed their second daughter on Thursday March 29th. The infant was born at the Gloucestershire Royal Infirmary, and has been named Isla Elizabeth. She weighed 3.28kilograms. She joins elder sister Savannah, fifteen months. Isla is the second grandchild of Princess Anne, and the second great-grandchild of Queen Elizabeth II.

Final Day in Scandinavia for Charles and Camilla

The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall have spent their last day in Scandinavia, and have returned to England. Funeral of Tonga’s King George Tupou V

The late King of Tonga, George Tupou V, was buried today following a state funeral in the South Pacific nation’s capital, Nuku’alofa. His body was returned to Tonga on Monday evening from Hong Kong, where he passed away on March 18th. The new King, Tupou VI, accompanied his elder brother’s body home. Photos of Denmark’s Little Princess Released

The Danish Royal Court has published the long-awaited photographs of Denmark’s newest royal – the infant daughter of Prince Joachim and Princess Marie. The series of photographs, taken at Schackenborg Palace by Steen Brogaard, feature the little princess with her parents and older brothers, Princes Nikolai, Felix and Henrik. The infant was born on January 24th, and will be christened on May 20th.

Princess Estelle’s Christening Schedueled for May 22

King George Tupou V Passes Away

The King of Tonga, George Tupou V, has passed away in a Hong Kong hospital. The news was confirmed by the Prime Minister of Tonga, Lord Siale’ataonga Tu’ivakano, a short time ago. The King died this afternoon, March 18. According to media reports, the King’s brother, Crown Prince Tupouto’a Lavaka Ata, was by his side. As patron of the Danish Heart Foundation, Crown Princess Mary today visited the Holbæk Hospital, east of Copenhagen in the municipality of Holbæk.
