Death of James Carnegie, Duke of Fife

The 3rd Duke of Fife, James Carnegie, passed away today at Kinnaird Castle in Angus, Scotland. He was 85. Born in 1929, James was the only child of Princess Maud, daughter of Louise, Princess Royal and Alexander Duff, 1st Duke of Fife, and Charles Carnegie, 11th Earl of Southesk. The Swedish Royal Court has just announced that Princess Madeleine has given birth to her second child, a son. The infant was born today, June 15, at 13:45 local time in Stockholm.
