New Portraits to Mark Máxima’s 40th Birthday

Her Royal Highness Princess Máxima of the Netherlands today celebrates her fortieth birthday. To mark the occassion, the Princess gave an interview and photo session with Dutch newspaper magazine AD. Former Romanian King Breaks Ties with German Princely House

King Michael I, the 89-year-old former King of Romania, issued a royal decree on Tuesday May 10th, stating that the Romanian Royal Family would no longer be connected to the House of Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen, the German Princely House from whom the royal family descends. Prince William, now the Duke of Cambridge, married Miss Catherine Middleton in a ceremony at Westminster Abbey earlier today. The seating plans for Friday’s wedding between Prince William and Catherine Middleton at Westminster Abbey were revealed on April 23rd. A selected guest list was also revealed.
