First Patronages Announced for Duchess of Cambridge

Clarence House has revealed HRH The Duchess of Cambridge’s first four patronages. The Duchess has become the patron of Action on Addiction and the National Portrait Gallery, London; as well as royal patron of the East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices and The Art Room. The first of the 2012 Danish New Year’s Court took place yesterday evening in Copenhagen. Princess Charlène to Visit Australia Next March

Prince Philip Recovering from Heart Surgery

HRH The Duke of Edinburgh is currently recovering from heart surgery at Papworth Cardiothoracic Hospital in Cambridgeshire, England, after he was admitted there last night, local time. Buckingham Palace confirmed that the Duke had been admitted to the hospital after having chest pains while at the Royal Family’s Sandringham House estate.
