70th Anniversary of Grand Duchess Charlotte’s Return to Luxembourg

Today marks the 70th anniversary of Grand Duchess Charlotte’s return to Luxembourg after a five-year exile during World War Two. A commemoration was held at Clairefontaine Square in Luxembourg City. Prince Kardam of Bulgaria Has Died

Kardam, Prince of Turnovo, the eldest son of former Tsar Simeon and Tsarina Margarita, passed away this morning in a Madrid hospital. He was 52. The Duke of Kent Hospitalised with Hip Injury

The Duke of Kent has been hospitalised with a hip injury, a Buckingham Palace spokesperson has confirmed. “I can confirm that the Duke of Kent was admitted to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary in Scotland for treatment of a hip injury,” the spokesperson said. The Duke was admitted on Sunday. It is believed he suffered a dislocated hip while staying on the Balmoral Estate.
