Princess Christina to be a Grandmother

Princess Christina’s Jewellery Stolen from Palace Apartment

Princess Christina has been the victim of theft recently, as a number of her jewels were stolen from her apartment at the Royal Palace of Stockholm. Queen Margrethe Receives Jubilee Tiara

In an audience earlier today at Amalienborg, Queen Margrethe II was presented with her jubilee gift from Greenland’s parliament and home rule government. The gift consists of a tiara and earrings set, made by Greenlandic goldsmith Nicolai Appel. Death of Prince Tomohito of Mikasa

The Imperial Household Agency last night announced the death of Prince Tomohito of Mikasa at the age of sixty-six. The Prince, Emperor Akihito’s first cousin, passed away at 3:35pm local time on Wednesday June 6th, at a hospital in Tokyo. He passed away following major organ failure.
