May 6, 1935: the British Royal Family gathers in London to celebrate the silver jubilee of King George V. Among the celebrations were a carriage ride through the streets of the capital, a thanksgiving service at St Paul’s Cathedral, and a balcony appearance at Buckingham Palace. Prince Joachim & Princess Marie Unveil Portraits at Schackenborg

Denmark’s Junior Prince Henrik Celebrates Seventh Birthday

Prince Henrik of Denmark, the son of Prince Joachim and Princess Marie, today celebrates his seventh birthday. Two new photographs of the young man, taken on April 29 by Steen Brogaard, have been released by the Danish Royal Court. Henrik, who is ninth in line to the Danish throne, was born in 2009 at the Rigshospitalet in Copenhagen. He has two older half-brothers, Nikolai and Felix, and a younger sister, Athena.
