Death of Prince Nicholas Romanovich, Claimant to Russian Throne

One of the claimants to the defunct Russian throne, Prince Nicholas Romanovich, passed away today in Italy, at the age of 91. Invictus Games Come To A Close

The Invictus Games came to a close tonight, with a closing ceremony attended by over 25,000 held at Queen Elizabeth Park. Featuring performances by James Blunt, the Foo Fighters, Ellie Goulding and the Kaiser Chiefs, as well as the Military Wives Choir. Princess Nathalie Expecting Second Child

Princess Nathalie of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg and her husband, Alexander Johannsmann, are expecting their second child. The news was confirmed by the Danish Royal Court’s press officer. The baby is due in February 2015. Princess Nathalie is youngest child of Princess Benedikte of Denmark and Prince Richard of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg. She married Mr Johannsmann in a religious ceremony in June 2011, their first child – son Konstantin – was born in July 2010.

New Daughter for the Duke and Duchess of Vendôme

The Duke and Duchess of Vendôme have welcomed their third child, a daughter named Louise-Marguerite. The infant was born on July 30 in Poissy, and has the full name Louise-Marguerite Eléonore Marie. She joins older brother Prince Gaston and older sister Princess Antoinette, who “are very eager to include their little sister in their games.” Prince Jean and Princess Philomena were married in May 2009.
